LexiMind AI Coach Pte Ltd ("LexiMind", "we", "us", or "our") operates the AL1 Vocab & Grammar Coach and AL1 Cloze & Synthesis Coach applications and the leximind.com.sg website (together, the "Service"), which help Singapore Primary 5 and Primary 6 students prepare for the PSLE English examination. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. A note for parents and guardians
Our Service is designed for use by children (typically aged 10–12) with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We intend for accounts to be created and managed by a parent or guardian on the student's behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without a parent or guardian's involvement in setting up the account. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate parental involvement, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that information.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account and contact information
- Username and password (stored securely) used to log in to the Service
- Parent and/or student email address and/or phone/WhatsApp number, provided during sign-up, trial registration, or when using our referral programme
- A unique referral code associated with your account, and records of when that code is used by another user
2.2 Learning and usage data
- Answers submitted during practice sessions, including which questions were answered correctly or incorrectly ("My Mistakes")
- Practice history, streaks, accuracy trends, leaderboard scores, and progress over time
- Content of AI-generated learning reports summarising a student's performance (in English and, where applicable, Chinese)
2.3 Technical information
- Login session information stored in your browser (e.g. local storage) so you stay signed in between visits
- Standard technical logs generated by our hosting providers (e.g. approximate access times, browser type), used only for maintaining and securing the Service
3. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and let you log in securely
- To generate personalised practice questions, mistake reviews, and AI-generated bilingual learning reports
- To operate leaderboards, streaks, and progress-tracking features within the Service
- To operate our referral programme (matching a referral code to the account that used it)
- To contact you — including via WhatsApp — about your account, trial access, referral status, or customer support enquiries
- To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service
We do not use your information for behavioural advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Who we share information with
We work with a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, solely to help us run the Service:

These providers are only permitted to use the information to perform services for us, and are not authorised to use it for their own marketing purposes. We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law.
5. Data retention
We retain account and learning data for as long as your account remains active, so that progress history and reports remain available to you. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

Subject to applicable law (including Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act), you may:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you or your child
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal information

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure password storage and restricted access to our database. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is intended to be used by students under the guidance of a parent or guardian who has agreed to this Privacy Policy on their behalf. We do not knowingly allow children to sign up independently without parental involvement, we do not display third-party advertising to students, and we do not use student data for advertising purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
